Join Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective and Rook & Raven for a cozy holiday gathering filled with cookies, frosting, sprinkles, creativity, recipe swapping, and plenty of sweet seasonal fun.

We’ll provide sugar and gingerbread cookies, frosting, decorating supplies, and recipe cards. You provide the creativity and, if you have one, a favorite holiday cookie recipe to share.

Spend the evening decorating cookies as simply or elaborately as you would like. Create a perfectly frosted snowflake. Build an edible masterpiece. Cover something in an unreasonable quantity of sprinkles. Make a cookie that raises more questions than it answers. There are no decorating skills required and absolutely no expectation of perfection.

Alongside the decorating, we’ll have a holiday cookie recipe exchange. Bring a favorite recipe from your family, a holiday tradition, something you discovered and now make every year, or simply the cookie recipe everyone keeps asking you for. We’ll have recipe cards available so everyone can share favorites and leave with some new recipes to try at home.

Don't have a recipe to share? No problem. A recipe is encouraged, not required. You can still decorate cookies, meet people, snack, socialize, and collect some inspiration from everyone else.

This gathering is about more than cookies. The holidays can get busy, complicated, and more than a little chaotic. This is an excuse to slow down for a bit, gather around a table with other people, make something with your hands, exchange traditions and stories, and enjoy some low-pressure holiday cheer.

Come by yourself, bring friends or family, or bring the person in your life who takes cookie decorating far too seriously. Whether your finished cookies belong in a bakery window or look like they survived a small frosting-related disaster, they belong at our table.

Registration: Some events require advance registration or tickets through Humanitix or another registration platform. Please check the individual event listing for registration requirements, pricing, age restrictions, and other event-specific details.
Third-Party Platforms: We may use third-party services such as Humanitix, Google, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms to host, promote, communicate about, or manage events. These services operate under their own terms, policies, and practices, which Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective does not control.
Photos & Recording: We love capturing the community in action. Unless otherwise stated, photography, video, or audio recording may occur at KPC events and may be used by Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective for promotional, educational, archival, or other business purposes. If you would prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let us know when you arrive and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Respect the Huddle: KPC is intended to be a welcoming and inclusive community space. Attendees are expected to treat other guests, presenters, performers, staff, volunteers, partners, and neighbors with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, or behavior that materially disrupts an event or creates an unsafe environment may result in removal from the event or space.
Accessibility & Accommodations: We want KPC events to be as accessible and welcoming as reasonably possible. If you need an accommodation to participate in an event, please contact us in advance when possible so we can work with you regarding your needs.
Service Animals: We love animals, but only service animals as permitted by applicable law are allowed inside the space. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted unless specifically allowed for a particular event.
Community Conversations: KPC events are community spaces, not confidential environments. Please use good judgment when sharing personal, proprietary, sensitive, or confidential information. We cannot guarantee that information shared with other attendees will remain private.
Educational Events: Workshops, presentations, discussions, and other educational programming are provided for general educational and informational purposes unless specifically stated otherwise. Participation does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, therapist-client, consultant-client, or other professional relationship with KPC, a presenter, or an event partner.
Presenter & Partner Views: KPC hosts a wonderfully eclectic collection of people, organizations, ideas, and events. Views expressed by presenters, performers, partners, renters, or attendees are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Kaleidoscope Penguin Collective.
Food & Drink: Some events may include or permit food and beverages. Attendees are responsible for determining whether food or beverages are appropriate for their own dietary needs, allergies, or restrictions. Event Changes: Sometimes plans change. KPC may modify event times, programming, presenters, capacity, or other details when reasonably necessary. If an event is canceled or materially changed, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees.
The Creative Stuff: Event materials, presentations, artwork, recordings, handouts, and other creative content may be protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights belonging to KPC, presenters, artists, partners, or other creators. Unless permission is expressly provided, please do not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, record, or commercially use someone else's work.
Personal Belongings: Please keep track of your stuff. To the extent permitted by law, KPC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Event-Specific Rules: Different events sometimes need different rules. Additional terms, waivers, participation requirements, refund policies, or other conditions may apply to a particular event and will be identified when applicable.
Follow the House Rules: Attendees must follow applicable laws, posted rules, event-specific instructions, and KPC policies, including any applicable Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, Privacy & Cookies Policy, and Accessibility information.
