Join us for an early morning adventure from Sullivan Rock as we hike up to Mt Vincent in time to watch the sunrise.

We'll allow approximately an hour to reach Mt Vincent, giving us plenty of time before sunrise at approximately 5:52am

After sunrise, there will be two hiking options, allowing you to choose between a shorter return to Sullivan Rock or continuing on for a longer morning adventure.

MEETING POINT

We will all meet at Sullivan Rock Car Park

OPTION 1 - JUST MT VINCENT SUNRISE

Distance: 5km Return
Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Likely back to Perth 8am - 8:30 am

Hike from Sullivan Rock to Mt Vincent to watch the sunrise before returning to Sullivan Rock with a She Hikes Perth leader

This is the shorter option for anyone wanting to enjoy the sunrise hike without continuing onto the longer route.

OPTION 2 - MT VINCENT + MT CUTHBERT

Distance: 13km return
Duration: 4 - 4.5 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Likely back to Perth 9:30am - 10:00am

After watching the sunrise, continue towards Mt Cuthbert before completing the longer route back towards Sullivan Rock

This option is suited to those wanting to continue on for a longer morning hike after sunrise.

FITNESS/EXPERIENCE

You should be comfortable walking uneven bush terrain and completing the distance of their chosen option. If you plan to complete the 13km option, ensure you are comfortable with the additional distance and terrain.

We will beginning the hike before sunrise and in darkness, you must comfortable hikinh in low-light conditions.

All participants join She Hikes Perth activities at their own risk.

Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Please discuss with drivers and passengers about joining for the optional lunch.

WHAT TO BRING

Working head torch
Minimum 2L of water
Snacks/food
Hiking shoes/boots
Warm layers for the early morning

Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, etc.)
Rain jacket if required
Any other personal hiking essentials
