Sumi-e Japanese Ink painting workshop

Let's try Japanese ink painting, Sumi-e at Matsuri Brisbane 2023!

During this workshop, we will introduce you to the basic skills of ink painting.

We will try to trace the work from 鳥獣戯画 "Cho jyu gi ga".  These humorous paintings are said to be the oldest Japanese Manga created about 800 years ago.

All materials will be provided and you can bring your Sumi-e work home.

There are 9 sessions available for you to join.  Please carefully choose your session time when you are purchasing your ticket.
