YEAR 10, 11 & 12 SUMMER ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOPS 2023
Interested in studying Architecture?
UWA School of Design invites students who are completing Year 10, 11 & 12 in 2022 to attend our Summer Architecture Workshop.
Architecture is the conceptualisation and design of buildings and built forms in response to social, environmental, economic and technological contexts, needs and objectives that benefit communities and the future health of the planet.
This three-day workshop will give secondary school students an insight into the study of Architecture, and an introduction to our teachers and practitioners who can provide advice about courses and careers in the built environment. The workshop will introduce participants to typical student projects, methods and skills. Most helpfully, participants will meet and interact with current students and staff in the Architecture program at UWA and have access to the spaces and equipment on campus.
Dates: 23rd - 25th January 2023, 9.30am - 1.00pm
Location: UWA School of Design
The workshops are free, and all materials will be supplied by the School.
