Materials Provided

Paper fans have been a part of Chinese history for over 3,000 years!

We’ll glean botanical inspiration and learn about important flowers in Chinese arts from Dr Christian Thompson: House of Gold exhibition We’ll also visit Jo Davenport’s exhibition,” From my Window”, which harnesses all the colours and feelings of spring. Just in time for the heat of summer, we’ll be decorating our own paper fans with paint and print using real flowers and leaves.
