Summer Art Camp: Text + Textiles (Teens)

When: Tuesday 14 January, 1pm - 3pm

Who: 13 - 17 year olds 
Where: Wagga Wagga Art Gallery

In this workshop we’ll explore the deeper meaning of words. We will start in the Textile exhibition and focus on the work of artist Blake Griffiths. Participants will use thread, yarn, fabric and pages from old books to create text + textile artworks. Using a “black-out poetry” method and paper weaving, participants will combine textile multi-media around their stories or poems.
