JJ Spence brings a fresh, genre-blending sound to the stage melding intricate fingerstyle guitar with rich grooves and uniquely crafted song writing. His music invites listeners into a world of sound that reflects and uplifts—rooted in themes of hope, self-discovery, and gratitude. Fresh from an immersive journey to Bamako, Mali, where he studied traditional rhythms with griot musicians and explored the textures of West African guitar and djembe, JJ returns with a deeper rhythmic sensibility and a broadened musical perspective. Joining him on stage are likeminded souls, close friends and collaborators united by a shared love for music. Together they bring JJ’s songs to life with warmth, energy, and an unmistakable sense of camaraderie.

Horse Drawn Cadillac is rolling “back home” for our 4th annual celebration of the first weekend of summer! And as usual, the band will be in full boogie form with some fresh new songs for their new album being recorded in January, and some special guest surprises with an attitude of “ everyone hop in the Cadillac and let’s take a ride from Chicago to N’awlins.” It’s a Summertime Thang with a 7+ piece band on the night, bringing a pallet of sounds - blues, some southern fried funk, just a little bit of country blues.
