Summer Course on Bodhisattva's Way of Life

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January: 9:30am to 5:00pm (lunch included)

Where: Sakya Temple of Peace, 27 Jenke Circuit, Kambah ACT

This is an exciting new course offered for people to make full use of their summer holiday break. Mahayana Buddhism is very rich in sacred texts and profound teachings. In this special course you will be treated to excellent discourses based on important Mahayana Buddhist texts, including Bodhisattva's Way of Life by Shantideva.

The course will be primarily taught by Lama Choedak Rinpoche, but other guest teachers will also deliver some of the teaching sessions, especially on the weekend. More details will be publicised once these are finalised.

About Lama Choedak Rinpoche

Born in Tibet, Lama Choedak Rinpoche trained within the Sakya lineage, where he engaged in a traditional three-and-a-half-year solitary retreat sponsored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. With more than four decades of teaching experience, Rinpoche offers guidance that is firmly grounded in authentic lineage, yet expressed with clarity and warmth for contemporary practitioners.
