Celebrate the energy of the Summer Solstice with an evening of ritual, restoration, and connection as we gather in community to honor the sun at its peak. This sacred turning point invites us to slow down, reflect on what is flourishing within, and reconnect to the warmth, vitality, and abundance that summer offers.

Together, we’ll open the evening with a grounding Blue Lotus tea ceremony, creating space to settle into the body, awaken the senses, and connect with the intentions we wish to nurture through the season. From there, you’ll be guided through a deeply restorative Reiki journey designed to support energetic balance, release stagnation, and invite renewed clarity and flow. Throughout the evening, immersive sound healing will carry us into deeper states of relaxation and reflection, using vibration and frequency to soothe the nervous system and awaken inner harmony.

The Summer Solstice has long been honored as a celebration of light, growth, and life force energy. As the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, we’re offered a moment to acknowledge our own inner fire—what we are ready to nourish, express, and fully step into. This gathering is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, align with the rhythms of nature, and embrace the beauty of being fully present in the season of expansion.

As part of the ceremony, we will work with blue lotus, a revered plant ally known for its calming, heart-opening, and intuitive qualities. Often associated with spiritual awakening and gentle euphoria, blue lotus supports relaxation, meditation, and deeper connection as we journey through this solstice experience together.

Antoinette Chirinos | @antoinnettecm

Peruvian curandera, born and raised in Peru, who continues to practice and share the ancestral Andean traditions. From a young age, she learned the rituals, plant wisdom, and healing ways passed down through her grandparents, carrying their teachings with deep reverence and authenticity.

As a third-generation energy healer, Antoinette offers traditional limpia sessions, plant-spirit work, and ceremonial practices rooted in her cultural heritage. Her work blends intuition, ancestral guidance, and a profound connection to the natural world, honoring the medicine she was entrusted with.

In 2024, Antoinette was featured in Forbes and San Diego Magazine for her contributions to ancestral healing and holistic wellness. Today, she continues to share her gifts as a curandera through ceremony, energy work, and spiritual guidance—bringing ancient Peruvian wisdom into the modern world with integrity and heart.

Olivia Hughes has been teaching yoga and Reiki since 2011, offering a grounded, heart-centered approach shaped by over a decade of study, experience, and service. She holds teaching certifications in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Aerial Yoga, and spent seven years as an Aerial Yoga co–teacher trainer, certifying more than 150 students. A Reiki Master since 2018, Olivia has certified over 100 practitioners, sharing her passion for energetic healing and intuitive transformation. She holds a BA in Psychology from SDSU & MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.

For the past 10 years, Olivia has co-led international yoga retreats, guiding students through powerful inner journeys across the world. Her Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology, deeply informs her workshops and mentorship containers—including her signature Alchemy of Healing workshop, where she teaches others to overcome limiting beliefs and reclaim their inner wisdom & power.

Olivia is the co-founder of Yoga in the Park, a beloved community offering she built with her husband, Matt Hughes. What began as a small gathering of four has grown into a thriving weekly class of more than 150 students. Olivia & Matt taught it weekly for over a decade and continues to lead it on the first weekend of every month—now in its 13th year.

Above all, Olivia is the devoted mother of her daughter, Mila, whose presence continues to inspire her path of service, compassion, and purpose.
