Summer Family Gathering
Event description
The Little Folk Summer Family Gathering is an opportunity for playgroup families to create beautiful memories and celebrate our year together.
For those of you who are joining our celebrations for the first time, it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded families and celebrate the season together with our children.
We will gather outdoors (weather permitting) under the pergola beside Ancestor's Pond to celebrate the coming of Christmas.  We will share a picnic morning tea followed by the singing of seasonal songs. There will be crafting activities for the children whilst parents create paper stars for their children's windows.Â
Our festival concludes at midday following the telling of a beautiful Advent story - Little Donkey on the journey to Bethlehem with Joseph and Mary preparing to birth her child.
Children are welcome to come dressed in their butterfly silks or as angels and shepherds.
