Summer? I Hardly Even Know Her - Queer Reading Night
Event description
’Tis the season: break out your finest hot queer summer dangly earrings and asymmetrical haircuts for an LGBTIQ+ reading event upstairs at Stonewall, the weekend of its reopening.
Sydney’s finest queer comedians, writers and performers will enamour you with stories of sinewy, sexy summer: think beach-side flings, slip slop slapping and Santa, but gay.Â
The line-up features a diverse range of Sydney’s LGBTIQA+ voices, who have been published in The Monthly, The Guardian, Junkee (and much more), and seen on stages across the country and globe (from the Red Rattler to Coachella). DJs will keep things bright and sunny in-between, with plenty of colourful cocktails available too.
Featuring Marcus Whale, Dan Hogan, Gen Fricker, Jared Richards, Shahmen Suku, Liz Duck-Chong, Michael Louis Kennedy, Jen Atherton and André Shannon.
Part of Happy Hours festival.
