Summer Picnics are back at Lon from 20th November! Selected sites on the farm are available for your private picnic lunch experience.

November/December/January/February 2024/2025

3 hour picnic sessions / 11am-2pm or 12noon-3pm

Minimum 2 adults / Maximum 10 adults

Celebrate and reconnect with friends, family or work-mates this Summer at Lon with a private picnic.

Selected sites within the Lon farm are available for a relaxed, fully catered outdoor picnic lunch experience.

On arrival, you will collect your picnic basket (inc glassware/utensils), picnic blanket, Lon farm-sourced grazing platter, XO Salad Bowl/s, Sweet treat & Beverages.

With basket and Lon farm map in hand, you will be directed on a short walk to your very own private picnic area with Wandering Folk picnic blankets, umbrellas, beanbags and a stunning view to the lighthouse, dunes or farmland.

Your Summer Picnic includes:

Use of our Lon Picnic Basket, Wandering Folk Picnic Blanket/s, Glassware & Utensils for your picnic. Umbrellas & extra seating options available too.

Lon farm-sourced grazing to share including seasonal Lon produce and locally sourced cheeses, dips, pate & olives, along with cured meats. Vegetarian options available.

An XO Salad Bowl per 2 guests

Options include -

GADO GADO + TEMPEH (GF, VG, DF)

An Indonesian chopped salad of cabbage, carrot, cucumber, herbs, green beans, chilli + bean shoots. Topped with peanuts + fried shallots
+ PEANUT SAUCE & sticky tempeh

or

NORI & EDAMAME SLAW + TERIYAKI TOFU (GF, VG)

Japanese inspired slaw with roasted teriyaki tofu + zingy ginger vinaigrette dressing.

Teriyaki tofu, Tuscan kale, edamame, radish, carrot, cucumber, cabbage, GINGER & SOY DRESSING, tamari pepitas, sesame seeds, shredded nori, togarashi

A glass of local sparkling, wine or non-alcoholic beverage each on arrival

Our Lon Honesty Bar will be available to guests throughout the day for any additional beverage purchases and on Sunny days our Lon Farm Van will be open serving coffee & snacks.

Summer picnics are maximum 3 hours duration, available from 11am-2pm or 12 noon - 3pm . Picnics are priced per person and are available for group sizes of minimum 2 adults, maximum 10 adults.

18 years and above only.

Please provide any dietary requirements at time of booking. Unfortunately we cannot cater for any dietary requirements that are advised at short notice (minimum 5 days notice required).

Please wear appropriate footwear and don't forget your sunhat and sunscreen. Our Lon team will be there on the day to help and direct you as you need so that your private picnic is everything you hope for (and more!).

No refunds are available for cancellations with less than 7 days notice. In the event of extreme or uncomfortable weather conditions, your Picnic Box including food & beverages will be available for collection from Lon Retreat Reception on the day of your picnic to enjoy in the privacy of your home or office.
