Summer Series: Cedillo’s Farm-to-Table Dinner
Description
Not to brag, but this has been our most popular event since it first launched in 2024. In 2025, we won Cedillo’s very prestigious Longest Table Award after having to add 5 tables to accommodate a record-breaking 75 attendees! 💅
We’re back for our third year in a row. It’ll be Women Unite! and Chicago United Solidarity Project at Cedillo’s on Saturday, July 25 from 6-8:00 p.m. The menu will be curated and crafted by Chef Roberto Pérez of Urban Pilón; DJ Shey Bae will be on the 1s and 2s setting the vibe; and we’ll have a raffle!
The menu will include:*
Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms with Herbed Goat Cheese and Basil
Homemade bread with Cedillo’s fresh tomato relish
Kale Caesar Salad with Fried Plantain Croutons
Roasted and Glazed Carrots
Citrus Thyme Grilled Chicken
Almojábanas (a rice flour and cheese fritter) with anise almíbar (a sugar syrup) blended with gourmet coffee
Guanimes (a traditional Taino and Caribbean dish)
*Ingredients and dishes may change based on what is available in the garden.
Drinks will include a selection of wines from Cream Wine Company and an assortment of sparkling water.
In an effort to make our events as financially accessible as possible, we are offering multiple ticket price points. Please select the one that works best for you!
Please note: Tickets are required and will be on sale until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 20. (We need to give the chef a final head count in advance!)
Can’t make it? You can make a donation to support our vision or select the “Community Member” ticket option to purchase a ticket for those who are part of the global majority and frontline communities.
Know before you go:
We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions! We can guarantee that vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be provided.
