The Farm for Wellbeing is excited to host Summer Solstice 2021!

This is an outdoor event celebrating light, life and abundance with beautiful offerings:

Joan Carpenter

Co-custodian of The Farm for Wellbeing & Hearth Keeper for Wise Woman Within You Circles Joan welcomes all with a guided meditation to aid in connection with the Land.

Matthew Greenwood

Matthew is well known as a Shaman. He holds workshops in Drum or Rattle making, smudging & more. He has an amazing Teepee which has been used for many ceremonies and gatherings. He is also known for his spiritual guidance with his offering of Spiritual Journeys and more recently "Fireside Chat ~ New Beginnings - New Ways of Living for the Future" which is online where he interviews a variety of presenters.

On the day he will co-open the event with Joan before he leads us all into the honouring of Summer Solstice with a Pipe Ceremony.

To the Lakota culture and tribe of the mid North of the US, the Sacred pipe is an integral part of ceremonies and rituals.
Having lived and spent much time with Lakota people of South Dakota, the sacred pipe has been a big part of Matthew's life and journey too.
In this sacred time we will spend with the pipe in ceremony, you will have the opportunity to offer your prayers in a unique way to Great Spirit, handing over these prayers to Tunkashilla and letting go of any expectations. It is said that Tunkashilla works directly through the Sacred Pipe for the People.

Chakradance with Conny

Chakradance is a healing movement practice. You are guided into your own inner dance of release and reconnection through music specifically designed to resonate with your chakras, the energy centres in your body. As the music's vibrations affect you, you may see images in your mind's eye, recall memories or gain insights related to each chakra.

Balancing your chakras guides you into alignment with your soul path bringing in heightened inspiration and clarity, enhanced creativity and improving your relationships.

Awaken Your Chakras is a 90 minute journey combining a dance through the seven major chakras with meditation and an exercise in Mandala Art to integrate your experience in the dance. You dance with your eyes closed or with an eye mask and barefoot for a deeper connection. Enjoy the freedom of spontaneous dance as you connect with your inner world. Nourish your soul and come home to your true self.

Conny van Balen is a Licensed Chakradance Facilitator offering classes in Adelaide and Adelaide Hills. Her journey has grown from being a Primary School Teacher and Life Coach to Saraswati Healing Practitioner with a more Spirit based focus allowing the Divine and her own Inner Self to become the guidance in her life. Conny would love to share opportunities for others to grow in spirit and connect more deeply with their Soul.

Summer is the Season of Fire with Vesna Cavic

Summer Solstice and Mother Earth are calling each of us to sit together in sacred sisterhood & brotherhood to support the manifestation of our Visions & Dreams for the New Earth

· We will activate our Inner Strength – our fires

· During this ceremony we will feel the powerful sun shining on each of us pulling that fierce and fiery energy in our body

· We will invite our spirit to be charged in the sun

· We will allow the fire energy to burn away things that we’re willing to clear out, to enrich the soil of our minds and therefore create a new terrain for new expansive, abundant, loving, joyous thoughts

This ceremony will be experiential and through embodiment practices we will work with the four elements; and the Fire will be the main character and energy during this gathering.

As we become One with the Elements we start to embody and honour the Powerful Creators We are.

Come along with an open mind and heart since we will be activating our Divine Powers, our playfulness and magical essence and connecting with the mystics of Mother Earth.

Some of the embodiment practices will be chanting, dancing, meditating and a few fun surprises. If it gets hot be prepared to get a bit wet :)

Shanti Sound with Michelle & James

We are delighted to announce Michelle and James Byrne of Shanti Sound will be presenting a Soundbath featuring Drum + Didgeridoo, Cosmic Tone Instruments, Gongs and Crystal Bowls.

Michelle and James have been working together as musicians since 2008, first travelling the country with their acoustic folk music and then diving into sacred sound and mantra music, soon after their connection began. They have delivered hundreds of Soundbaths together since 2013, and delight in each opportunity to immerse participants into a space of deep calm and loving serenity.

Michelle's qualifications include a Diploma of Music, Diploma of Sound Therapy (British Academy of Sound Therapy). She has broadened her expertise by attending workshops with leading sound experts including Jonathan Goldman's Healing Sounds Intensive in Colorado, USA and together with her husband James has attended Ecstatic Chant retreat with Deva Premal & Miten several times - the first time was on their honeymoon in 2011! James' qualifications include Cert IV Music and Diploma of Life Coaching. James is also the creator of the incredible Cosmic Tone Instruments, artisan sound healing musical instruments, which have been sold around Australia and internationally for almost ten years!

Michelle and James look forward to creating sounds for the Summer Solstice, dropping us into a beautiful state of deep appreciation for life and the cycles of our Earth Mother.

The Summer Solstice Event includes a delicious vegan dinner provided by The Farm for Wellbeing and snacks, tea and coffee.

Please bring your own water bottle. Feel free to refill throughout the day from The Farm's rainwater supply.
