Event description

Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Paradise Creek Nature Park's “Treehenge”!

Date: Thursday, June 20 Time: 5:45 AM

Join us for a free celebration that’s open to all ages! As the sun rises, we’ll gather at the top of the Earthworks mound, where our unique astronomical calendar of Eastern red cedars, affectionately known as “Treehenge,” will mark the beginning of the longest day of the year

Don’t miss this magical moment as we honor the changing seasons and embrace the warmth and light of summer. Bring your friends and family—it’s a morning you won’t want to miss!

Event is free and donations are appreciated to help support equitable and accessible nature education programming offered by the Elizabeth River Project.
