SUMMER SOLSTICE SONGSCAPE

You are invited to gather in song to celebrate the summer solstice, the peak of the year, where life is in full bloom and we are energetically supported to drop into a space of reflection and acknowledgement for the peaks and troughs of the cycle that has been, honouring our own unique pace and rhythm of life.

This is a moment in time to pause, take stock, give thanks and sing our hearts out, to step into sacred space and connect with our inner terrain through sound, breath and movement and to merge with others, in harmony.

This is a group singing experience, with space for the individual to step forth, should they choose. It’s all an invitation and you are always in the driver seat. All levels of singing experience is welcome.

This is a space to experience and explore your sound, to clear blockages that stand in the way of your full, authentic expression, to cultivate a deeper connection with your voice as a power centre of creativity so that you can step into 2024 with more clarity, confidence and musical embodiment practices to support you to anchor your vision.

Burleigh Anglican Hall 14 Park Avenue, Burleigh

This will include an hour break for lunch. There are lots of cafes in the area or you can byo lunch.

Lots of singing/sounding/free expression

Trance-like states

The healing power of your voice through group sounding and harmonisation

The creative power of your voice through intentional singing/sounding

Releasing and clearing with sound/movement

Flow state singing

Vocal techniques to warm up your voice, expand your range, sustain longer notes and increase lung capacity
