Summer Solstice Sunrise Creek Morning
Description
Summer Solstice Gathering ~ Welcoming the Light of Summer
Tuesday 22nd December | Sunrise at the Creek
As the days grow longer, the mornings warmer and the light of Summer settles around us, we're gathering by the creek to welcome the season of fire, warmth, energy and abundance.
Join us for a gentle sunrise (well, a little later than sunrise) morning of connection, community and a little end-of-year magic. A chance to slow down, bring the kiddos along, reconnect with one another and take a moment to appreciate all that this year has held before we move into the next.
We'll begin with the first light of the morning, grounding ourselves on the sand looking out to Burleigh Headland, sharing a refreshing early morning dip in the creek and enjoying some time together by the water. We'll make space to acknowledge the year that has been ~ the growth, the challenges, the little moments, the things we've learnt and the things we're ready to leave behind.
Celebrating Litha ~ the Summer Solstice, we'll honour the turning of the seasons and welcome the energy of the Sun at its fullest. A time traditionally associated with light, vitality, warmth, creativity and the abundance of the natural world. An invitation to embrace a little more joy, playfulness and aliveness as we step into the heart of Summer.
We'll finish with a cuppa or some cacao, good conversations and a relaxed morning on the sand while the kiddos play and the day begins to warm.
No big agenda, no expectations.... just a beautiful opportunity to gather, breathe, swim, share stories and enjoy the simple goodness of being together.
Everyone is welcome and you don't have to be a mum to join us!
Let's welcome Summer together. 🌞🌿
