Summer Werribee South - Beach Education and Sports Day - Tues 13 January - Youth Holiday Action

*Registrations open Monday 1 December at 9am and close Monday 5 January at 10am.

Join Youth Services Holiday Action at the Beach!

Choose a morning and an afternoon activity, hang out with friends, make new friends, chill with the Street Surfer Bus. Join in the fun at Werribee South Beach!

Drop off and pick up at Werribee South Playground where Youth Services staff will be waiting.

Morning activities (10am to 12pm) - book one:

• Beach and Water Education with Lifesaving Victoria (2 hours)

• 10am - Skateboarding with Skateboarding Victoria (45 minutes)

• 11am - Skateboarding with Skateboarding Victoria (45 minutes)

Afternoon activities (12.30 to 2.30pm) - book one:

• Basketball with Wyndham Basketball

• Volleyball with Volleyball Victoria

• Pickleball with WynActive

11am to 1pm - Streetsurfer Bus with Wyndham Youth Services - drop in!

If you enjoy the activities, chat to the coaches to find out how to carry on.

How to Book:

1. Click on Register

2. Select Werribee South Beach Education and Sports Day entry - only 1 person can be registered at a time

3. Choose up to one activity ticket per time slot - you don't have to attend both time slots - but be prepared to hang out at the beach if you aren't joining in.

4. Complete the full registration

5. Booking for another person? - Start from the beginning and repeat

Holiday Action bookings are for 12 to 17 years. Siblings can book through theWerribee South Beach page from Saturday 3 January.

Please bring:

• a drink bottle with water

• comfortable clothing and trainers to be be active in

• sun safety gear - hat and suncream

• water gear if doing beach and water education - swimmers, towel, rash vest

• food and water

Sign up today, and tell your friends. Places are limited, if you change your mind about attending please cancel your ticket through Humanitix so others can join in: 

Click on your confirmation email, Click Manage Order, Click Refund/ Cancel tab, Select the ticket you would like to cancel, Click Review, Then Confirm.

General Information:

• Meeting point and Collection: Werribee South playground

• Please arrive 10 minutes before each session to tick your kid's name off on the register.

• If they feel unwell please consider whether they should attend.

• Please follow any processes in place as directed by the coaches/ Youth Services.

All sessions are delivered by a range of partners with Wyndham City as part of the Active Wyndham Calendar which aims to help more Wyndham residents to find physical activities that they enjoy.

Data collection and enquiries:

Registration information will be kept on a secure database and will be used in a statistical format for monitoring and evaluation purposes only. You may be contacted for feedback to help with course improvement/project evaluation. Medical information, name, age, gender and emergency contact details will be passed onto the coaches where required.
