Year 6-10 Play in a Week (THRILLER!)

Being able to build suspense and hold tension is the key to good storytelling. But HOW can you build tension in a performance and really impact your audience? Spend the week diving deep into thrills and chills, learn it really means and how it can affect your performance both physically and psychologically.

Play with status, endowment, motivations and subtext. Throughout the week you create your own scenes in the thriller genre as well as applying the skills you have learnt to existing scripts. Create a performance for your family and friends, sure to have them on the edge of their seat.

Spend four days developing characters, honing your storytelling techniques and learning what it takes to make a really great performance.
