The Annual Summerhill Estate Classic is the 2021 event you don't want to miss!


Due to restrictions on travel in place for our Auckland participants, we now have a few spaces available for Saturday 4th December

18 hole 2 man Ambrose at beautiful Summerhill Estate.

1-day competition, choose to play either the 3rd or the 4th December

18 Hole Ambrose competition played in pairs. Handicap rules apply - a handicap will be calculated for you if you do not have one.

Entry includes:

  • Return coach transport from Baypark Arena and Papamoa Plaza to Summerhill Estate
  • Morning tea on arrival, fully catered lunch, premium beers and refreshments throughout the day 
  • Finishing with fabulous prize giving, canapés, wine and refreshments in the marquee
  • NEW Winning Pair Prize - A premium Duncan & Ebbett 2020 Volvo XC90 for the weekend with Green fees and cart hire at the luxurious Cape Kidnappers Golf Course in Hawkes Bay plus a nights accommodation at Porters Boutique Hotel in Havelock North.
  • Plus golfers entered go in the draw for flights, accommodation and tickets to the 2022 NZ Open in Queenstown!
  • All players receive a Summerhill signature shoe bag filled with golfing goods and a 2021 Guild & Spence Golf Cap

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This is a Licensed event so minimum age requirement is 18 years old

NO BYO alcohol will be allowed at the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Bus transport to and from the event is included in your ticket purchase. There is NO Public parking available at the event.

This year we have two pick up destinations, Baypark Arena and Papamoa Plaza.

The bus will depart at 9:15am from Baypark Arena. Please arrive no later than 9:00am

The bus will then head to Papamoa Plaza for a 9:45am pickup. Please arrive at the Plaza no later than 9:30am

The bus will return at the end of the day to the Plaza at 7:15pm and Baypark at 7:30pm. 

Parking of your vehicles for the day will be available at Baypark Arena however parking at Papamoa Plaza is not guaranteed at that busy time of year. We recommend being dropped off. 

Do I need a NZ Handicap?

This is a handicap event so if you have a NZ Golf handicap please enter that at registration. If you do not have a NZ handicap one will be calculated for you.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring your golfing equipment that you will require for the day along with any other personal items you may need i.e sunscreen, medication etc.

There will be fun competitions and raffles on course during the day so bring some cash to be involved.

Again, this is a licensed event so NO BYO ALCOHOL is permitted.

What is the Covid-19 refund policy?

As the country will be operating under the new Traffic Light Alert System by this date, proof of vaccination will be required. Please make contact with us directly if you have any queries regarding entry to the event:  info@summerhillestate.co.nz.

It is our plan to make this a day you'll never forget, however if the Summerhill Classic is unable to proceed due to Covid-19 restrictions, or lockdown level restrictions mean you are unable to attend, we are offering the following options:

1. Request that your purchased ticket roll over to next year's Summerhill Classic. Just like that, you'll be registered for 2022!
2. Request your ticket price be converted into a donation. We'll send you a donation letter from our chosen charity, Educational Equity for Māori and Pasifika Learners and appreciate you supporting us in our chosen charity's cause.
3. Request a refund. Your refund will be processed and returned to you within a few days.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your printed ticket confirmation as proof of entry.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

We reserve the right to accept or decline ticket and registration transfers depending on notice.
