The Abbey, The Green, Sutton Courtenay, Abingdon, OX14 4AF By car • Located just off the A415 between Abingdon and Dorchester-on-Thames. • Around 3 miles from Abingdon and 10 miles south of Oxford. • About 30 minutes from the M4 (J13) and M40 (J7). • For sat nav, the venue suggests using OX14 4AE to reach the entrance on The Green.  By train • Didcot Parkway – mainline station, about 10 minutes by taxi or bus. • Culham – closest station but limited onward transport.  By bus • Oxford Bus Company route 33 stops at “The George” in Sutton Courtenay, a short walk from the Abbey via The Green.

The main hall is wheelchair accessible with assistance, and there is an accessible toilet on site. Please contact the organisers in advance if you have specific access needs so we can help make arrangements.
After entry instructions
Enter The Abbey from The Green, Sutton Courtenay, through the main gate. Walk into the courtyard and head towards the main Abbey building. The Great Hall (Main Hall) is straight ahead and will be signposted for the event.
Hazards
The Abbey is a historic building with uneven floors, steps and thresholds in some areas. Paths and outdoor surfaces may be uneven or slippery in wet weather, so please take care when moving around the site.
Accessible parking
A small number of accessible parking spaces are available at the front of the building. Please let the organisers know in advance if you would like to use one so we can reserve a space for you.
