Enjoy a night at the theatre with amazing performances from our Summer Stock Austin 2023 entertainers!

These young artists are working extremely hard to put on our summer season and they are incredibly excited to share their work with the Austin community, this event will allow you to take a sneak peek at all their progress. We will showcase performances from “Wizard of Oz", “Grease,” and our new movie musical "Dance Hall".

About our shows:

Summer Stock Austin, in collaboration with Texas Performing Arts, presents The Wizard of Oz! This dazzling show will transport you to a land of ruby slippers, wicked witches, and flying monkeys as you follow Dorothy and her friends on a quest to find the mighty Wizard and return home to Kansas. Bring your family, young and old, to enjoy this beloved classic brought to life at the McCullough Theatre, running from July 22nd through August 6th, 2023.

Summer Stock Austin, in collaboration with Texas Performing Arts, presents Grease! Get ready to be transported back in time to the golden age of rock 'n' roll and join Sandy, Danny, Rizzo, and more as they navigate romance and drama at Rydell High. With unforgettable hits like "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'," and "You're the One That I Want," our talented cast will have you tapping your toes and singing along to every word. McCullough Theatre from July 28th through August 6th, 2023.

"Dance Hall," the newest short film from SSA, is what happens when we combine the legend of Brigadoon, the setting of Footloose, and the mystery of the Twilight Zone and make a warm-hearted musical film about experiencing life, dealing with loss, and dancing the night away with those we care about.

We are thrilled to announce that the World premiere of our third movie musical - Dance Hall is just around the corner on August 10th!
