Summertime poetry at Summertown- DYS

Draw your (S)words is starting back up for 2024 at Summertown Studio and we are coming in HOT!! We have missed you all over the break, but we are coming back stronger and more organised than ever (with the next 6 months already locked in), we cant wait to hear your poetry and also show you what we've been working on too!!

If you are new to this event DYS is a welcoming place for all to connect. We host spoken word events in the community and provide a safe and inclusive space for folks to step up onto the open mic and share their stories. 

Fancy sharing your poetry with us?.. We welcome you to brave it and sign-up to perform, there are tix avail here to reserve your place on the mic as spots are limited. Or come along and watch poets share their words. This event is for poets of all levels.

$10 entry, free for First Nations Folks. There is also the option to purchase a pay it forward ticket, to shout someone a spot as we know times are tough and we would never turn anyone away.
