Join us for an evening of chef curated sushi, and luxurious sake by Dassai Blue!

Nothing says summer quite like fresh sushi and perfectly chilled sake. Light, refreshing, and packed with flavor, sushi is the ideal warm-weather meal, and Nori Sushi is taking it to the next level. For one night only, Nori Sushi has created a special prix fixe menu with each course thoughtfully crafted to pair with a different Dassai sake, offering guests a guided tasting experience that highlights the best of both Japanese cuisine and craftsmanship.

Dassai Blue is a sake brewery based out of New York. Their sake is Junmai Daiginjo, a premium grade sake that is made with rice polished down to at least 50% of its original size and no additional alcohol or additives are used in the brewing process. The sake has four ingredients - high-quality Yamada Nishiki rice, local water, koji mold, and carefully selected yeast.

On Wednesday, August 26th, Dassai Blue Sommelier Ashley Thornton is coming out to Nori Sushi for this dinner pairing! He will teach us all about the sake as we sip, taste, and enjoy. Learn about the tedious sake process from a professional, and discover more about Japan's iconic national beverage.

Third Course

Mitarashi Dango みたらし団子
Originated in Kyoto, this warm soft mochi dough is layered with
savory and sweet light soy sauce.
