SUMS Presents: A Hint of Halloween

Sydney University Musical Society (SUMS) is proud to present our upcoming concert, A Hint of Halloween, performing works by Eric Whitacre, Pete Churchill, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, Sally Whitwell and more.

Join us on Saturday the 31st of October at 6PM in the University of Sydney's Great Hall - this concert is not one to miss!

Our programme brings together a mix of well-loved and and contemporary pieces; a gentle balance of haunting melodies in György Orbán's Daemon Irrepit Callidus and Jaakko Mäntyjärvi's Come Away Death, the nostalgia and comfort of Scarborough Fair arranged by Michael Higgins and Alicia Adélaide Needham's How Dear to Me the Hour and the exciting Little Man in a Hurry by Eric Whitacre.

As well as this, our program will also feature the premiere of SUMS' 2026 Composition Competition winner, Secret by Dean Imrie.
