After a few quiet weeks, the smoker is firing back up this Sunday for another laid-back afternoon of low ’n’ slow BBQ, good food, garden vibes and smoky goodness.
This is a pre-sale event only to help us keep service smooth and food fresh:

- What time does the BBQ start?
Serving starts at 11:30 and runs through till 1:30pm. Cafe open all day.
- Can I take food away?
Yes. Food is available for takeaway. All food must be pre-ordered, drinks are available from the cafe.
- What happens if food sells out?
It won’t — all meals are pre-purchased, so everything is prepared based on orders received. If you’ve ordered, your food is guaranteed.
- Is the event family-friendly?
Yes. The Grounds Collective is a relaxed, family-friendly venue with large flat footpaths for prams/ wheelchairs etc.
- What if the weather changes?
The event will go ahead unless otherwise advised. Updates will be shared on our social pages. We have indoor seating and large umbrellas outside.
- How do I find out about the next event?

- Is this a BYO alcohol event?
Yes — BYO alcohol is welcome in moderation. You’re welcome to bring your own beer/ wine or a small flask and purchase one of our Swell Packs (soda water + fruit), which are perfect for mixing. All other drinks must be purchased from the café.
- Do I need to book a table for dine-in?
No formal booking required — just pre-purchase your meals and come in during the serving window to grab a table.
- What happens if I’m late for my pickup?
If you’re running late, contact The Grounds Collective 4944 5822 to make other arrangements.
- How does takeaway work?
Select your meals and choose a collection time after checkout.
Arrive at your selected time and collect your order.
