We look forward to welcoming you to the Mill Theatre at Dairy Road. Please note that finding your way around the Dairy Road precinct is extremely difficult. Please remember that we have a lock out which means we are not able to let late audience in after the show starts or after intermission.

Sunday Story Time will go for approximately 90 minutes with an intermission half way.

ARRIVAL

Head to the Box Office on arrival so the team can check you off the list (we are a bit quirky with our arrival process!). You can also purchase tickets directly from the Box Office if needed. The doors open approximately 15 minutes before show time. We now have a bar at the Mill serving snacks, still and sparkling water, red and white wine and beer.

LOCATION

The Mill Theatre is in Building 3.3, 1 Dairy Road. We are in the Screencraft and KeepCo building which is a short walk from Capital Brewing. There are two easy ways to approach the Theatre:

BACK OF BUILDING APPROACH:

PARK in P3 at the back of the precinct. From there you will see building 3.3 which has a large Screencraft sign. The public entrance is just up from that sign (not underneath it!). Once inside, walk about 5 metres and the theatre is to the right, next to Mojo Guitars.

FRONT OF BUILDING APPROACH:

WALK from Capital Brewing or the Less sculpture into the KeepCo building, pass Ramen Daddy and at the end of the corridor we are on the left.

PARKING

All parking in the precinct is free with several accessibility parking spots in all the parking locations. The best spot to park is P3 at the back of the precinct. If you park elsewhere please be warned that signage and way-finding around the precinct is extremely difficult. Arrive in plenty of time to possibly get lost, possibly be in a bad mood, and remedy that with a drink at Vertikal Bar or Ramen Daddy before enjoying a smashing show!

TICKETS

You only need the name and booking number provided in your humanitix booking confirmation in order to enter the theatre. Purchasing tickets on site is possible one hour before each show from the box office. Online ticket sales close one hour before each show.

SEATING AND LATE OR MID-PERFORMANCE EXITS

Patrons may sit wherever they would like within the L-seating configuration. There are no reserved seats, except for accessible seating. The Front of House team will be able to provide support if required. Wheelchair seating is available and the Front of House team will provide assistance.

Every seat in the house has a great view, and a different view. Patrons walk through the set to find your seats, adding to the intimacy of the space.

This means, late arrivals or patrons who leave the theatre before intermission or the end will NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE THEATRE. The Front of House staff ring a bell five minutes and one minute before the doors close.

FOOD AND DRINK

There are a range of food and drink options all around the precinct. The Mill serves snacks, water and we have a small bar. On a Sunday evening the other options are Capital Brewery and Brodburger which are two buildings down from the theatre. Make sure you leave plenty of time to order and eat or drink before the advertised show time. The Front of House staff ring a bell five minutes and one minute before the doors close. We have a strict lock out which means late comers cannot be admitted unfortunately. If you do try and enter - you will find yourself a part of the show!

ACCESSIBILITY

Mill Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with accessible bathrooms in building 3.3. Drop off in P3 is possible, with a ramp from ground level to the Building doors. This same level remains all the way to the accessible seating options.

Please send any accessibility requirements to hello@milltheatreatdairyroad.com and please make yourself known to the Front of House staff upon arrival, and they will ensure your requirements are addressed and importantly, will reserve seats for you. There are several wheelchair accessible seating areas and the Front of House staff will discuss this with you. Each show is different, so let's chat together about which area you might like to be in.

CLOAKROOM

There is no cloakroom at the Mill Theatre.

PHONES AND PHOTOGRAPHY

No photography at any point during performance is permitted. We request patrons turn phones off for the duration of each performance.

COVID SAFETY

Please do not attend the theatre if you are feeling unwell. Refunds are available. And please help yourself to hand sanitiser when you arrive.
