Get ready to kick off the summer season with Theta Project’s Summer Sunday Social! We’re thrilled to launch a free (free entry between 3–4pm), monthly Sunday session that brings together our beautiful LGBTQIA+ community on the perfect outdoor deck at Sweatshop.

Starting Sunday 8 December, join us on the second Sunday of every month from 3–7 pm (or later!) for the ultimate Sunday Session vibes.

Here’s what’s in store:

• Sweatshop Brew Kitchen (formerly known as Sale Street) is the ultimate day party & Sunday session hotspot and our chosen venue. We are moving the DJ booth and sound system outdoors to the venue’s massive deck, boasting city views, endless seating, and indoor/outdoor flow. And with a retractable roof, we’re set to gather ☔️ or ☀️
• Enjoy the best summer vocal camp feel good house music from our top DJs
• Our fabulous “Social Lubricators” (AKA drag artists) will be there to connect you with others, help with name tags, pour drinks, and make sure everyone feels welcomed and included

Drink specials, exciting giveaways, a chance to win a year’s pass to our parties, and so much more…

From 3–4 pm, enjoy complimentary entry, after which there’s a $15 door charge that includes a handpicked bubbly or cocktail to kickstart the fun. Don’t forget, drag artists in full drag gain free entry to all our events this summer. You can register or repurchase your $15 door charge to guarantee entry, otherwise just turn up.

The Summer Sunday Social takes over the entire venue, Sweatshop, on the Second Sunday of every month starting Sunday 8 December. We feel very lucky to have a venue open just for us on these Sunday Sessions, so mark your calendar and come support the newest social club in LGBTQIA+ Auckland. Everyone is welcome!
