STAGE MANAGEMENT with Reis Low

Do you have an interest in stage managing? Want to try it but feel daunted by the idea of learning on the job? Have experience in stage managing but looking to refresh or expand your knowledge? This workshop is for you! Come and learn invaluable skills and tricks from experienced stage manager Reis Low.

This workshop will cover:
- Stage management phases
- Working on devised works vs scripted works
- Wellbeing during shows

WHAT TO BRING

- A bottle of water
- Something to take notes on

Note: we will be photographing/filming parts of this workshop for promo and social media use. Please advise us if you do not wish to be filmed.


ABOUT THE COACH

Reis Low (they/them) is an arts manager and maker with a background in theatre and dance. Credits include stage managing The Bridal Lament (2024) by Rainbow Chan, How Do I Let You Die (2023) by Michele Lee, Momentum (2022) by Women's Circus, Hydra (2021) by Double Water Sign. When not with Wit Inc, they can be found at Western Edge as Operations Coordinator, or catching up with loved ones and art in Southeast Asia. Come chat with Reis about your quietest ideas and wildest dreams over a cup of tea.
