SUNDERKAND PATH - BERWICK

Event description

Worship of Lord Hanuman can be carried out through two very popular modes, both of which are trusted by millions of followers of the Maha Bajrangabali. One of them is the reading aloud of the Hanuman Chalisa and the other being the reaing of the Sunderkand paath or path of the Saint-Tulsidas-compiled version of Ramayana - called the SriRamCharitamanas - an epic poem in the Awadhi language, composed by the 16th-century Indian bhakti poet Goswami Tulsidas (c. 1532–1623). The Sundarkand chronicles the greatness of Hanuman and his victory in anything he takes upon himself to complete. The reading of Sundarkand Paath instils confidence in the minds of the reader. The biggest gain or benefit of reading the Sundarkand Paath is that it fetches one the blessings of not just Hanuman but of Lord Shri Ram's as well.
