Join us Saturday, September 23rd for a day traversing a sunflower field. See these giant beauties up close while capturing the perfect photo as a keepsake.  Spend the day in the country picking in the fields and orchards learning about how food is grown. Pick berries pumpkins and wild flowers!!!


 Enjoy abundant panoramic photo opportunities along with a scenic tractor-drawn wagon ride. We'll finish up our day at the farm with a picnic.

We'll meet up at The Long Room to kick off the day. We'll provide the transportation there of course.

If you are picking sunflowers, you will need to bring something to cut your flowers with. The farm will provide souvenir cups to hold your flowers, water will be provided for the flowers in the field! Scissors will be available for purchase for $3.00. 

EVENT DETAILS:

  • 10:00 AM – Meet at The Long Room
  • 10:30AM – Depart
  • 11:45 AM – Arrive at the farm for Sunflower Maze & Picnic
  • 4:00 PM - Depart back to Chicago
  • 5:15 PM – Back at The Long Room

Refund policy

No refunds or credits unless the event is canceled. We cannot issue refunds or credits for anyone testing positive for COVID or other illnesses. If the event is rescheduled due to inclement weather (dangerous or unsuitable for the course of activity), ticket purchasers will be offered refunds if they notify us within 72hrs that they are unable to attend the rescheduled date. We strive to make Outsiders a diverse and affordable adventure opportunity for everyone. Keeping our ticket prices accessible to everyone is one of the main reasons for our no-refund policy. If you are not dressed in weather-appropriate gear or if your attire is deemed unsuitable for the activity, we have the right to turn you down for the safety of the group and yourself. If you have any medical conditions or injuries that might prevent you from completing the trip, please consult your physician to confirm your ability to partake in the activities safely.
