Sunrise at Pt. Judith Lighthouse

Point Judith Lighthouse has been helping vessels navigate treacherous rocks and fog for over 200 years

For those who love the magic of sunrise coupled with an iconic New England landmark, we will meet at Point Judith Lighthouse one and a half hours before sunrise. This 200-year-old Lighthouse safeguards an area known to sailors as a “Graveyard of the Atlantic” due to the treacherous rocks, high maritime traffic, and frequent dense fog. We will photograph the blue hour capturing vibrant colors, create a starburst, and work on exploring the creative effects of shutter speed until one hour after sunrise.
