Sunrise Stroll: Coastal Walk at Malabar Headland

Join us on Sunday 6th of October for a special walking at sunrise.

Enjoy this 6km coastal walk in Malabar Headland NP on defined tracks, boardwalks and a bit of road walking to make loop. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 18 min to complete.

To start:

Meet in Arthur Byrne Reserve for fajr prayer at 6:00AM at the location first and don’t forget its daylight saving!

Then start the walk at 6.25 sharp! Take the sandy trail that leads down to South Maroubra Beach and the headland at the southern end. The path around the headland is easy to follow and the boardwalks are well-maintained.

All are welcome, so bring your family, your neighbours, your parents, and rope in a mate – we can’t wait to see you there!

Please note: Arthur Byrnes Reserve is a nice spot for a picnic and Maroubra Park which is adjacent, has a fenced-in playground, toilets, and a skate park as well as a couple of cafes. There is plenty of parking here.
