ABOUT GOAT WALKABOUTS:
Goat Walkabouts is a Nigerian Dwarf goat hiking program that has an emphasis on human therapy. The quality of life becomes much better for the goats when you reconnect them with their own environment. The quality of life becomes much better for you when you can reconnect them on their terms. Therapy comes in all forms and we have found an incredibly special resource. Please join us and let's send a message to everyone together as a herd.

TRAIL DIFFICULTY: EASY (this is a walk in the park!!)

AGE: 13+ (we offer private hikes to minors accompanied by parents)

“Goats Walkabouts is on a mission to provide goat hikes and goat walks as a form of animal assisted activities and animal assisted therapy to those who struggle with PTSD, Post War Veterans, those who have intellectual disabilities, those who are in recovery, and many others while offering the often held captive caprine species an opportunity to graze in freedom and explore in an ecosystem that resembles their natural and indigenous habitat.”
ABOUT HERITAGE LAKEWOOD BELMAR PARK:
Located at 801 S. Yarrow Street, Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park is a 20th century history park, museum and festival experience that celebrates our community.
It is home to 15 historic buildings, more than 40,000 artifacts, rotating and permanent exhibits, a festival area and an outdoor amphitheater.
