You are welcome to join us through the sunset gateway for an evening of drumming and dancing in the light of the West African Mandé traditions. We will gather at the Revillaging Project at 5.45pm for a 6pm start. Our evening with proceed as follows:

6-7.15pm Traditional Drum Circle Workshop with Djulz Chambers (Soul Circles Drumming). All drums will be provided, or bring your own if you wish!

7.15-7.30pm Hydration and transition

7.30-8.45pm Traditional Dance Workshop with Lou Wang. Lou's class will be supported by a live ensemble of traditional drummers, featuring Jordan Scotney, Djulz Chambers and Luca Romani. The workshop will conclude with light stretching accompanied by live Mbira music.

8.45-9pm Community connection

No previous experience with either drumming or dancing is required to participate. Please wear loose clothing or yoga gear for our dance component.
