The Annual BM Conservation Society Sunset gathering. Speakers include:
Simone Novello the Program Leader Visitor Economy at BMCC will talk to us about the Destination Stewardship Alliance council has established to inform a “stewardship” approach to tourism in the Blue Mountains.
MC memberswho will be updating on current campaigns for Weeds, Narrow Neck development at Katoomba, WSI and whatever else we are doing.
Andrew Cox will speak about the work being done in Gardens Of Stone (GOS) in relation to impacts of mining and mining waste; this is also supported by the GOS Alliance and 4Nature.
Keith Muir will talk about the proposed lease accommodation in GOS.
