Sunset Picnic & Sauna at Taliaferro Farms
Description
Join us for a relaxed evening at golden hour at Taliaferro Farms, set against sweeping views of the Shawangunk Mountains.
We’ll gather for a sunset picnic surrounded by open fields and good conversation. Live music by Evan Watson will carry us through the evening, with thoughtfully crafted mocktails by Solune Sips available for purchase.
For those who want to take it a step further, we’ll also have an optional 60-minute sauna experience with Wintersun Sauna. Move between the heat and a refreshing cold plunge, taking in the landscape as you slow down, reset, and fully settle into the moment. We recommend a non-alcoholic experience for those participating in the sauna.
If you’re joining us for the picnic, you’re welcome to bring your own beverages.
This isn’t about programming or pressure. It’s about showing up, being present, and enjoying a beautiful space together.

Evan Watson - Live Music
Evan Watson is a Hudson Valley-based musician known for his warm, laid-back sound—perfect for long summer evenings. Originally from Indiana, he writes accessible songs that lean into melodic, easy listening while still feeling deeply personal and original. With influences like the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, The Band, Buddy Guy, and Ben Harper, his live performances are rooted in soul, honesty, and a quiet kind of energy that invites you to slow down and stay awhile. He’s also the owner and brewer behind Plan Bee Farm Brewery, where he crafts small-batch, farm-driven beers rooted in the land. Sauna - Wintersun Sauna
Founded by Chris Callaway, New Paltz resident, photographer, husband and father, and your fire-stoker. Wintersun is a nature-focused mobile sauna built around gathering. We partner with local orchards, parks, farms, and small businesses to bring sauna into meaningful outdoor spaces, especially during the quieter seasons. At its heart, Wintersun is about connection, to yourself, to others, and to the land. We believe wellness should be accessible, affordable, and part of everyday life. We’re just getting started, but our vision is clear: to create welcoming, nature-based experiences where health and community grow together.
