Round two of Sunsets Wine Club takes us west — way west — for an afternoon exploring some of the incredible wines of Western Australia.

Our host Matt is a creative and curious wine connoisseur, multidimensional lawyer and passionate global adventurer, with plenty of interesting tales to tell. He’s hand-selected six wines for us to explore the Wild West and the stories behind them.

How Matt describes this wine journey...

Well over two thousand kilometres, most of it Nullarbor, separate Margaret River from the nearest vineyard in the eastern states. Western Australia makes barely five per cent of the country's wine but 20 per cent of its best, and its flagship region wasn't planted by farmers so much as prescribed by a scientist, who looked at a windswept ridge between two capes in 1965 and told a handful of Perth doctors it could be Bordeaux. Join us at the Little Vine Room for an afternoon working through six wines shaped by a warm ocean current that shouldn't exist, some of the oldest soil on earth and a flowering gum tree that decides whether the birds or the winemakers get the grapes.

Joining us - will be the joyous Jourdan, an energetic healer and retired superyacht host, offering tarot readings for those who fancy a little insight into the future while enjoying the taste of the other Australia.

Tickets include tastings of 6 wines, paired with delightful tapas and culinary delights.

Our first Sunsets Wine Club was surprisingly BRILLIANT and sold out, full of fun humans, great stories, vivid conversations and plenty of laughs.
