We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Sunset Soiree at the picturesque Royal Perth Yacht Club, on the banks of the Swan River, for an end of summer sunset evening to introduce you to the Ngala Fellowship, a philanthropic approach that empowers individuals to engage actively in the giving process whilst raising money to support WA families.

We are thrilled to have Professor Desiree Silva and Di Wilcox join us for this event! 

Di Wilcox is the founder of The Magic Coat, with a Bachelor of Social Science in Women and Children Studies and a Diploma of Education. Di is a highly regarded educator, children and teens coach, key note speaker, women’s mentor and program facilitator with a wealth of experience working with young people and their families to have good mental health. In 2020, Di won the United Nations WA, Human Rights award for the work she is doing for children and families.

Professor Desiree Silva is the Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Western Australia and Joondalup Health Campus. In addition she is the co-director of the ORGINS project which is a community intervention birth cohort creating a new research platform with a strong translation focus. Professor Silva is a strong advocate for understanding early brain development and it association for neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health. 

We can't wait to hear these two leaders share their insights into how we can all make a difference to the lives of children.
