Sunshine among the clouds – Professor Jioji Ravulo, social worker and singer on helping young people see beyond dark clouds
Event description
Professor Jioji Ravulo, a social worker (and avid singer) from the University of Sydney is visiting Darwin this week to present to all school leaders. He has accepted an invitation to meet with our community.
For an evening we will share experiences, learnings, songs and possibilities for well-being from culture and Country. It's an opportunity to meet like minds, learn, float ideas, find collaborators and simply have a nice time together.
Jioji’s key areas of interest are youth, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, marginalisation and decolonisation.
"For me it's about helping people to feel like they do belong, they are cared for and they do matter."
- Professor Jioji Ravulo
