Sign up for NEST on the Sunshine Coast!
We are bringing NEST to the heart of local communities and running a free program, empowering adults to cook nutritious and delicious meals on a budget and grow their nutrition knowledge.
Our NEST team on the Sunshine Coast will be running a free 5-week program from Tuesday, 20th May to 24th June 2025. Led by our friendly dietitian and nutritionist, Chanel, you'll learn how to cook easy, tasty, and affordable meals (for under $5.00 a serve) as well as build on your food and nutrition knowledge in five fun, hands-on, 2.5-hour group sessions
At NEST, you'll learn:
- New cooking tips and tricks
- How to understand food labels
- How to save money on your food budget
- How to plan meals to reduce food waste
- How to store food safely
At the completion of the program, you'll receive a certificate, take-home resources and your own copy of the OzHarvest Everyday Cookbook!
When: Tuesdays from 20th May to 24th June 2025 (Note: There will be a program break on Tuesday, 10th June 2025.)
*By registering for this NEST program, you will be signed up to all 5 sessions. Please ensure you are available to attend all 5 sessions.
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm (2.5 hours)
Cost: Free
This program is tailored for people 18+ years. Bookings are essential and will be capped at 15 people.
