Event description
Come and join Sunshine Coast's social enterprise and business-for-good community for a night of casual drinks, good company and great networking. Meet purpose-led founders, social business leaders and all-round good people doing great things at the coast and beyond.
This will be a fun yet relaxed, afterwork event; no awkward networking, just good people keen to connect with other good people. Registration is required, as space is limited. Ticket price includes one drink. You are welcome to order your own food from the bar.
Hosted by Impact Boom, this event is proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council with event partners QSEC, The Interchange and GoodNorth.
On the evening you'll hear short, sharp, informal updates from:
- Impact Boom's CEO, Tom Allen will announce the Flow Forward Accelerator Program cohort (applications close on April 22nd, 5pm!) and you'll also join a bunch of the amazing FFWD facilitators and mentors.
- Queensland Social Enterprise Council will provide the latest news for the sector.
- The Interchange will share key updates from the local group and their next steps forward.
- Michael Doneman of The Old Ambo and Yunus Centre, Griffith University will share some of the history of social enterprise in the region and thoughts on key opportunities.
