Super 16 Screening | Open House

Open House is a series of events happening in June produced by the Emerging Creative Producers to welcome the community and artists to Carclew house. The events will create opportunity to engage in the arts via workshops, presentations, and other creative experiences, while also providing the opportunity for Sharehouse residents to show their work.

Super 16

Four teams of filmmakers got the opportunity to make a short films scored with original music by four emerging composers. Filmmakers learnt to shoot and develop their own films on Super 8 film stock. Traditional film stock brings unique quirks and qualities, and filmmaking teams will be asked to rise to the challenges of this medium to see what they can do with the assigned time, takes, and soundtrack.  

Their complete short films will be presented at this Open House on June 29th.
