Super Jambo Grom Pre

This is Australia's best alternative cycling event. Probably. It is an informal gravel ride coming to the dark and twisted valley of Thora. Following the forested, palm lined dirt roads and fire trails starting at the hub of Thora General Store and traversing the lush, humid and tropicana area of the Bellingen Shire, NSW. Bellingen is on the traditional country of the Gumbaynggirr people.

Multiple rides of 160km| 80km | 40km and a shorter family friendly ride around the Promise Lands (12km)

To be held on the 6-8th of March 2026 tickets are limited to 120 capacity

6am - 7am Breakfast (included in ticket pricing)

Leaving for ride at your own time

10:30am - family friendly ride departs from Gleniffer Hall

Swimming in river upon return from ride

7pm Dinner (included in ticket price) and entertainment in the evening at Thora Community Hall

How to get there and where to stay

The closest train station is Urunga. If there is enough need, a shuttle could be potentially organised to pick you up from this train station on Friday only.

Parking and camping will be available at the Thora Store, at the Thora Community Hall and the nearby Roses Park Rest Area which also acts as overspill camping, car camping, and tent camping available. You will be directed as to wear to park on the day of the event.

If you need accomodation, the township of Bellingen (10 min) or Dorrigo (20 min) are the closest.

Food and Supply

Friday night dinner and Saturday breakfast will be supplied by Wendz Bistro. The menu will be made available closer to date.

The Thora General Store is a robust resupply with groceries, snacks, alcohol and fuel. There is limited running drinking water from the Thora General Store please bring drinking water with you if possible.
