Jenny Rolfe-Wallace

Jenny is a finance nerd who loves taking the complexity of concepts like superannuation and making them easy to understand.

Jenny has worked in the financial services and education industries since 1992. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy and Economics, Master of Education and Graduate Certificate of Educational Research from Charles Sturt University, Diploma in Law from the Legal Practitioners Admission Board, Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Planning Association, and the Diploma of Sustainable Living from the University of Tasmania. She has held various roles including high school teacher, financial adviser, university lecturer and more recently, education consultant.

In 2018, Jenny founded the Sprout Education Group (SproutEd), with the goal of helping people change how they think and feel about money. SproutEd offers a range of programs and workshops supporting people who want to build their financial resilience and wellbeing.

The ‘Understanding Super’ session will explain the facts about:

• what superannuation is and how it works
• how money gets into super
• what happens to the money in your super account
• how and when you can take money out
• who gets your super savings if you die
• how insurance in super works
• where to get more information.
