#SuperMeet

Work Ready Kāpiti are hosting a #SuperMeet!

This is a FREE event open to all Kāpiti based employers and youth between the ages of 15 - 24, it offers youth a great opportunity to connect with a number of local businesses from a variety of industries to find their pathway into their future training or employment.

This is where we need YOU!

We are needing local employers and businesses to attend to meet with youth, in a speed dating style format. This event offers short 7-minute relaxed interview sessions that the youth have pre-selected in industries of their choosing, allowing youth to make some really valuable connections and practice their interview skills with you.

Who knows you may even meet one of your future employees!

We have some exciting speakers booked, light refreshments, a chance to network with other like-minded businesses and support our local rangatahi.

*COVID-19 Information*

We have full contingency plans in place for all of our programmes in the various settings including our events and we will only run live events if it is safe to do so.  

The safety of our participants, employers, contractors and stakeholders is of paramount importance to us.

In line with guidelines, the event will be run with…

• Scanning upon arrival.
• Appropriate usage of hand sanitiser.
• Mandatory mask-wearing.
• Vaccine passports will need to be sited for all attendees and contractors as per the venue's requirements.
• We have hired a large space - the main theatre, so as to manage social distancing appropriately.
• Catering and beverages are to be served with social distancing observed and in line with all guidelines.

We will be continuing to monitor the situation and the event will be postponed if the Board feels the event is not safe to continue due to further outbreaks or increased restrictions.
