Are you interested in STEM?
Join us at Mona Vale Library where guest speakers from The Superstars of STEM Indrani, Laura and Neelima will share their experience as a Deep Time Geologist, a Radio Astronomer, and an IT Programmer. Questions and discussions will be open to inspire the next generation of young Australians into STEM.
There will also be STEM activities available too.
For ages 12 - 18. No STEM experience required
Dr Indrani Mukherjee - Deep Time Geologist
Indrani focusses her research on “what drove that biological transition?”, where she investigates ancient marine environments through novel and cutting-edge geochemical techniques.
Dr Laura Driessen - Radio Astronomer
Laura uses some of the biggest radio telescopes in the world to find flaring stars and bursts of plasma that may indicate that a planet orbiting the star may contain life!
Neelima Kadiyala - IT Program Manager
Neelima has extensive experience in transformative programs across multiple industries where she has developed technical skills and aspires to continue progressing in leadership roles.
