Support Lennox & Eli with the Ipswich Jets
Description
Two young rugby league players, Lennox Murphy Gaudin Kasupene and Eli Thomas Kleidon, were recently seriously injured in a tragic accident in Booval. At just 14 years of age, they and their families are now facing a long and challenging recovery.
Our rugby league community stands together in moments like this.
Jets Co-Captain Blake Lenehan has chosen to cut his dreadlocks at the conclusion of our Round 1 game on March 8 as a show of solidarity and support for Lennox and Eli.
This fundraiser has been established to raise at least $10,000 to support the boys and their families during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised through this initiative will be contributed by the club directly to the existing GoFundMe campaign established for Lennox and Eli.
As a gesture of appreciation for the generosity shown on the day, the highest individual donor will be invited onto the field to cut the first dreadlock following the match.
This moment is not about spectacle. It is about showing that our community stands behind two young players and their families when it matters most.
Every donation makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your support.
