FREE workshop to learn how to support tamariki when they’re experiencing big emotions.
• Understand the role of emotional intelligence and how to foster it in your tamariki.
• Learn some tools around ‘emotion coaching’ – tuning into your child’s feelings, and helping them cope and self-regulate.
• Explore the importance of looking after yourself when supporting your young person.
Led by Mana Ake team that has a focus on Primary Aged children (aged 5-13) but information relevant for young people of all ages.
This workshop will also be highly relevant to teaching staff, or those working with or caring for young people.
