Supported Me! What to do when a student discloses abuse

This one hour online session is designed to help educators and SSO's know what to do in the event that a student discloses abuse.

The session will include;

• How to support a child who discloses abuse - during and after the disclosure
• Your responsibility as a Mandated Notifier
• What to look out for in terms of sexualized behaviour
• How & when to take notes 
• What kind of follow up is required for you and the child
• Self care
  
• Confidentiality issues 
  

Places are strictly limited in order to have time to discuss scenarios and experiences you may have already had with children disclosing abuse.
